Due to concerns for my pupils and fellow musicians regarding COVID-19 I have added a HONEYWELL HPA300C True HEPA Air Purifier for Extra Large Room, Allergen Remover with HEPA Filter & Activated Carbon Pre-Filter, Captures 99.97% of Airborne Particles & Up to 99% Viruses

That will be installed on October 24 for all in house lessons and recording sessions

I want to share with you about one of my long time students. Her name is Liz Studt and she has been a piano student for 6 years and a voice student on and off for 4 years. Let me explain. She wanted to sing a song for her foster mothers wedding 4 years ago. So we worked on this song I Could Not Ask For More for about 8 months. No matter what I tried she couldn't sing in tune and her meter was all over the place. Her mother was to be married Dec 31. Finally in early October, I told them both that this just wasn't going to happen. Liz continued to take piano lessons with me. A couple of years ago I was working with a 10 year old very talented young singer learning to sing Hallelujah to bed tracks. This song was screaming for 3 part harmony so I wrote the harmonies in MIDI and sent her the separate harmony lines against the melody. Liz had also come along musically with her piano studies and her timing and musicality so I had a feeling and pitched her about my experiment about singing Hallelujah and the harmonies no charge. Both the 10 year student and Liz sang Hallelujah and the harmonies perfectly. Liz is the young lady I co wrote Just Keep On Being You last year published on iTunes and everywhere last year and last week at out lesson after our piano session I asked her what she wanted to sing to bed tracks and she said to my surprise I Could Not Ask For More. This time she sang it perfectly in time and in tune and this will be a surprise for her mom when we do a concert at their rebuilt home that burned down last year at a concert I am going to do this summer. So did I have something to do with this and her progression of singing in tune and timing? Sure, but it's also to her dedication and commitment and love
to her music.

Well it's 2019 and busy playing and teaching! My 5 piece classic rock/band has been together for about a year and starting to talk about a summer concert. I added a Hammond XK-2 to my setup and a 61 note M-audio MIDI controller so now I have back my Hammond C3 I lugged around and 2 x 122 Leslies in the 1970's but this one weighs 30lbs!!! Love it. One of my vocal students came back on Friday with a song idea so putting together scoring and writing the music. No matter what you're doing musically I can probably help and guide you.
