🧡 Orange Shirt Day – Monday, September 28

Tomorrow, our school community will be having Orange Shirt Day, in recognition of National Day for Truth & Reconciliation. We invite our students and staff to wear orange as a visible reminder that Every Child Matters. As part of our day, we will also be gathering for a special Truth & Reconciliation Chapel:

We look forward to taking this time together as a school community to listen, learn, remember, and consider how we can continue to walk the path of reconciliation.

This Canadian classic brings L.M. Montgomery's beloved story to life, following the spirited, imaginative orphan Anne Shirley as she wins over the hearts of the Cuthberts and the community of Avonlea with her irrepressible charm, wit, and unwavering optimism.

Auditions have taken place and casting is underway! Students in grades 8-12 who are still interested in being a part of the show but missed auditions can connect with Mrs. Jantzen!

We're excited to bring this story of faith, family, and community to our stage this Spring! 💚✨

Report Card Pick-Up is Tomorrow! They will be available for pick-up on Friday, June 26 from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

We encourage families to stop by during these hours to collect their student's report card and celebrate the accomplishments of another school year. Thank you for your partnership, support, and commitment to your child's education. We pray you have a safe, restful, and joy-filled summer!

This past weekend the DCS 2026 seniors walked the stage for their graduation and we are so proud of them! It was a weekend full of celebration!🎓
