🌻 We raise our hands to retired teacher Eleanor Stringer for sharing hundreds of beautiful sunflowers with our school community on the first day of school.

Because of Eleanor's generosity, every classroom was welcomed with a bouquet of sunshine, and families received flowers at morning drop-off. What a wonderful way to begin a new school year together.

Huy ch q'u, Eleanor, for thinking of our xe' xe' smun'eem and families. Your kindness helped create a warm and welcoming start for everyone.

Huy steep q'u to our Indigenous Education Team for helping deliver flowers and sharing in this act of care and community. Huy steep q'u to Tzinquaw singers who welcomed all back to school today. What a beautiful start to our day and our year!
