It is with deep sorrow that we share the sad news of Mrs. Susan Porter, who passed away on Saturday, August 15th, 2026.

Mrs. Porter was a cherished member of our school community. Her kindness, care, and presence touched the lives of many students, families, and colleagues, and she will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, with details to be shared when they become available. In keeping with Mrs. Porter’s wishes, her students are warmly invited to attend and join her family and loved ones in honouring her life and the meaningful impact she had on our school community.

During our final weeks at Queen of Angels we had a special visitor. Another alumni stopped by and we were so grateful to see Dax! Our door is always open to see our students who have moved on to higher education. Thanks for the great visit Dax!

In the blink of an eye the OSC Program wraps up it’s last days of service to Q of A families by hosting Summer Camp 2026! We hosted 22 campers this year! Activities included team games, free play in the gym and playground, picnics, forest exploration and a daily artwork project. Artwork projects worked on were: wooden floral mandalas, wooden bookmarks, Summer journals, wooden coaster sets and a 3D Summer Beach painting with surfboards. Campers were also treated with popsicles, juice boxes, milk and goody bags. On behalf of the OSC team I wish all our students and their families a wonderful summer break, safe travels and happy adventures!
