NOW HIRING – PART-TIME CLEANER

Growing Together Child & Parent Society is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented cleaner to join our team.

🧹 Part-time position
📅 Immediate start
👋 Training will be provided alongside our current cleaner to ensure a smooth transition.

Duties include cleaning and sanitizing classrooms, washrooms and common areas, vacuuming, mopping, garbage/recycling, and other general cleaning duties.

Previous cleaning experience is an asset. Experience in a childcare setting is a bonus.

Growing Together will be closed Wednesday, September 30th in recognition of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

We encourage families to take some time to reflect, learn, and honour the children and families affected by the residential school system. 🧡

We will reopen Thursday, October 1st.

🍂 A Cozy Fall Reminder! 🍂

Just a reminder to families that Growing Together will be closing at 12:30 PM on Friday, September 25th for our monthly staff meeting. Please ensure your child is picked up by 12:30 PM.

And because the weather is getting cooler and we’re embracing all the cozy fall feels, we’re inviting the children to come dressed in their pajamas! 🧸🍁☕

Think cozy PJs, comfy clothes, fuzzy socks, and all things snuggly! We’re looking forward to a fun and cozy morning with the children before we head into the weekend.

🧸💛 What a special day! 💛🧸

A huge thank you to all of our wonderful families who came out to our Teddy Bear Picnic! It was such a beautiful way to celebrate our little friends, make memories, and enjoy some fun together. Thank you for taking the time to join us and make the day so special! 🧸🌸☀️

And to our Kindergarten graduates — we are so incredibly proud of each and every one of you! 🎓💛 Watching you grow, learn, make friends, and become the amazing little people you are has been such a privilege.

As you head off to Kindergarten, we wish you so much happiness, confidence, fun and adventure. We know you are going to do amazing things!

🍎 Our freezer (and fridge!) are full again! 🍎

A huge, heartfelt THANK YOU to the Rotary Club of Duncan Daybreak for another wonderful year of filling our freezer and fridge with delicious apples so we can make homemade sugar-free applesauce for the children at Growing Together Child and Parent Society! ❤️

There’s something pretty special about a community coming together to make sure our little ones have something wholesome, delicious, and made with love. 🥰
