A heartfelt thank you to the Rotary Club of Duncan Daybreak for another incredible day of community service at Growing Together Child and Parent Society!

We are so grateful to the dedicated volunteers who gave up their Saturday to build a beautiful new gazebo in our 3–5-year-old play yard. Your generosity, hard work, and commitment to supporting local families have created a wonderful new space where children can play, learn, and gather for years to come.

Projects like this are only possible because of community partners like you. The children, families, and staff truly appreciate every hour you invested and every helping hand you brought.

Thank you for making a lasting difference in the lives of the families we serve. We are proud to have such amazing community supporters!

🏡 Summer Centre Closure
Growing Together Child & Parent Society will be closed from Monday, August 31, 2026 through Monday, September 7, 2026.

The centre will remain closed while all staff participate in mandatory First Aid training.

We look forward to welcoming all of our families back for the start of our new program year!

Hello, Growing Together Families! 🥰

Thank you to all of our parents/guardians for sending your children with a wonderful variety to eat for lunch so far. Our goal is to offer foods that fuel the body as opposed to sugary and sticky foods (fruit snacks, chocolate granola bars, etc). Please remember to slice foods appropriately for age. We are still offering a light morning snack but please be sure to send your child with food in belly before arriving as well.

●Also, as of this past Monday, June 29th, our summer hours are 8:00 to 3:00. Please allow enough time at both drop off and pick up to communicate with your child's caregivers.

●Please send children in shoes appropriate and safe for outdoor wear in our gravel yard. Runners/closed toes/heels are best. Extra clothing is also appreciated and necessary.

●And...A gentle reminder to please slow down in the parking lot and try to take up only one space while parking.

Tonight, we witnessed 3 of our parents walk the stage to finalize their high school graduation. It was an honor to be present at this ceremony. The staff at Growing Together are so incredibly proud of their accomplishments! Congrats anf best wishes to our graduates of 2026!

Just a friendly reminder that Friday, June 26 is our monthly staff meeting day, and Growing Together Child & Parent Society will be closing early at 12:30 PM.

To add some extra fun to the morning, we invite all children to come dressed in their brightest neon, rainbow, or colourful clothing for this month's Theme Day! 🌟🌈🩷💚💛💙
