We’re excited to share that CTRA has once again been selected as a benefiting charity for the 4th Annual Isle of Van 9HR Motorcycle Endurance Charity Event hosted by Higgy's On The Track - Motorcycle Track Days On Vancouver Island!

Formerly known as Higgy’s 9HR, this incredible endurance event brings riders together for nine hours on the track while raising funds for local charities — and we’re so grateful to be part of it again!

🐴 Keep an eye out for the CTRA crew while you’re there! Our staff and volunteers will be onsite serving up breakfast and lunch throughout the day.

This weekend, Promac Moto will once again be participating in the "Isle of Van" charity motorcycle event at the Vancouver Island Motorsports Circuit.

Help us make this annual event a game changer for these local causes: Cowichan Therapeutic Riding Association, Canadian Mental Health Association: Cowichan Valley Branch, Cowichan Brain Injury Society. Every small pledge/donation matters!

Our new indoor arena footing is officially complete, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the amazing community that came together to make this project possible.

This investment will provide a safer, more consistent riding surface for our riders and horses, helping us continue to deliver quality therapeutic riding programs year-round.

It's Ride-a-Thon test week at CTRA! 🐴

Our riders have been taking to the arenas to complete their Ride-a-Thon dressage and working equitation tests, with more still to come before our wind up BBQ this Saturday.

For many of our riders, these tests represent weeks of practice, perseverance, and personal growth. Whether it's riding a precise dressage test, trying something new, or simply having the confidence to enter the arena, every participant is working toward a goal that's meaningful to them.

As we head into the final stretch, Team Yilden is currently leading the fundraising pack! 🎉 But there's still time for the other teams to catch up before fundraising wraps up this weekend.

Every donation helps provide therapeutic riding and equine-assisted learning programs that build confidence, independence, and connection for the individuals and families we serve.

Our annual Ride-A-Thon is underway, and the horses are off to the races! Riders are busy collecting pledges for their favourite therapy horse, and the competition is already heating up.

But there’s one problem... Yilden has bolted out of the gate and is almost lapping the rest of the herd! 🐴💨

Come on, Team CTRA! If your favourite horse is going to have a chance at the winner’s circle, now is the time to get those pledge forms working. Reach out to family, friends, neighbours, and coworkers and ask them to support your horse and the life-changing programs at CTRA.

Every dollar raised helps provide therapeutic riding opportunities for the riders we serve while supporting the care of our incredible equine partners.

☀️ Summer Riding Lessons at CTRA! 🐴

Our therapeutic riding sessions are now scheduled for the summer, which means we have a limited number of lesson spots available for community riders!

Whether you're looking to:

🐎 Learn to ride with a strong foundation in horsemanship, or
🐎 Continue developing your riding skills

We have a program for you.

Our summer lessons are offered in two 4-week sessions, Monday to Friday:

📅 July Session: July 6 – July 31
📅 August Session: August 10 – September 4

Lessons are suitable for riders looking to build confidence, improve skills, and enjoy time with horses in a supportive environment.
