🥋 THE END OF AN ERA — ISLAND KUNG FU 🥋
After many incredible years, the time has come to announce the closure of Island Kung Fu.
Sifu Ian, our Chief Instructor, has decided it’s time to retire from training and hang up the gloves after many years dedicated to Kung Fu, teaching and passing on his knowledge to others.
Sifu Emma Kononowicz, our Head Instructor, is also beginning an exciting new chapter in her life — moving on to new adventures, marriage, family and everything the future has waiting for her. ❤️
Island Kung Fu has always been about much more than martial arts. It has been about discipline, confidence, friendship, respect and community.
Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of watching children grow up, beginners become accomplished martial artists, friendships develop and countless memories being made on the mats.
To every student who has walked through our doors, every parent who trusted us with their children, and every friend and supporter who has been part of the journey:

You made Island Kung Fu what it was, and we will always be incredibly proud of what we built together.
The school may be closing, but the friendships, lessons and memories will remain.
One chapter ends. Another begins.
