Tonight’s Wednesday ride…… couldn’t ask for better weather and trail conditions! 🌲 ☀️ Cobble Hill Mt. provides quite a bit of XC riding which helps build strength but we managed to find some techy downhill to practice slower maneuvers and riding position. 🏔️ 🌲 🚵♀️

Another great Wednesday ride!! Tonight we continued to practice our cornering skills and maintaining speed through the berms. Kids also loved showing off their balancing act on the Fire Rd “Skinny”! 🙌 🌲 😃
Next week our class will be at Cobble Hill Mt.

Registration is open for the Spring sessions (April 8th - June 10th)

It was a snow day today on Mt Tzouhalem and why not try to learn some new skills in the slippery wet conditions!! 🤣 Practiced angulation through the berms for increased cornering ability. We create bike-body separation for maximum traction and to keep our weight over the tire side k***s.
Blah blah blah - we also had lots of fun tossing the snow around and pretending we were on snow bikes! ❄️ 🌲 🌨️ 🌲😁🤪

Stopping to take a pause in my day! ☀️ I find this so important for my mental health and well being. I’m my former work life I would skip breaks and lunches just to get through the day. Now I see that a quick 5min pause helps to rejuvenate me and give me energy to keep going. It improves my cognitive function and decision making skills. When I have something that is stressful going I find it even more important to take that time to settle my nervous system and come from a place of mindfulness and peace. Grateful for the sunshine today, down at the breakwater in Victoria. ☀️ 🌊 ☀️

Groms ride at Cobble Hill Mountain! Great view from the top of the fog in the lowlands and towards Mt Prevost/Tzouhalem. The guys enjoyed checking out the newer section of Snake trail in the dark. Looking forward to coming back and session’ing some of the cool features!! 🙌

Wednesday night ride with the advanced beginner group. Tonight we crushed 9km on Bumble Bee, AGT climb, Showtime, Double D, Resurrection and soooo many more. No complaints from the group even with the muddy, rainy conditions!!! So much fun!! Next week we are at Cobble Hill for those in my class. 😃 🌲 🏔️

Happy Saturday! ☀️ 😃 Each morning I start my day with a meditation, to pause and set an intention of how I want to show up. In my former life I would jump into the day, check my phone, emails, texts or get into a task as soon as I woke up. Taking time, just a few minutes to breathe, wake my body and settle any mental clutter that could be clouding my thoughts, helps to open up clarity on how I want to move forward. I find I have more clarity and capacity to take on what the day will bring and also disperse any fear, self judgement or disempowering beliefs.
Setting an intention is a conscious decision on how you want to show up today. How you want to “BE”. And it is a choice! Today my intention is “connection” as I go out for some fun adventures with my kids and friends, out in nature and sunshine! ☀️
What will your intention be today?
Happy Saturday! 💫 🌟

Wed afternoon Dirt Groms are back in session!!! Tonight we adventured to the top of Tzouhalem for a quick view as the sun went down. Using our lights we were able to cruise back down Double D and couple of other flowy trails. We had a few weeks off from lessons but the kids haven’t slowed down a bit. I did have to put all their seats up by 1-2” as they just keep growing! 🤣
Registration is still open for winter and spring sessions .groms - 🏔️ 🌲 🚵♀️ ☀️

Slowing down and bringing presence (not presents 🎁)
This time between Christmas and New Year’s Day is a great time to realign with yourself, to acknowledge the year that has passed and the new one that is beginning.
We don’t need to do anything but just sit with the feelings and allow them to process. We have accomplished so much, have grace for all that you’ve come through. It’s in the “slowing down” - the stillness and quiet that we can begin to hear what is coming next for us. To gain clarity around our new intention for 2026. What is it we want to get or create in these next 12 months?
It is your journey and your path! You get to choose how it goes and who you will bring a long for the ride. Reminder that you are the most important person to prioritize, so take this time, RIGHT NOW, to discover how you are going to show up for 2026. 🤗 ❤️🩹 🌲 ✨
