Another successful District Gravity Car Day Event for Cowichan Schools! The top 6 student qualifiers from 14 school in our district raced for the fastest car. Congratulations to Chemainus Seconday for a Gold place finish and Tansor Elementary for both Silver and Bronze finishes. Best Decorated Car was awarded to Chemainus Elementary. 🚗🚙. We would also like to thank staff for generously hosting this event for our student again this year!

Congratulations to all our competitors at the Provincial Skills Canada competition held Wednesday, April 19th at the Abbotsford Tradex Centre! Students from Cowichan competed in Cabinetry, Robotics, Culinary, Carpentry, Hairstyling, and Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Mechanics. Congratulations to Frances Kelsey with a second place finish in Gearbot Robotics, and to Cowichan Secondary’s student for a third place finish in Cabinetry.
