You may have noticed a few changes around here lately, and that’s because we are expanding!

If there’s one thing navigating motherhood and serving the community as a doula and breastfeeding educator has taught me, it’s the importance of having your village. And we want to support you in building yours.

Whether you’re planning to grow your family, navigating infertility or loss, expecting a baby, preparing for birth, in the postpartum trenches, or navigating parenthood, our hope is to welcome you into a community where you can connect, feel seen, and be heard.

Welcome to It Takes a Village
A space where you’ll be welcomed, supported, and connected with a village of like-minded families and individuals.

Exciting things to look forward to:
• Parent meetups & Support groups
• Classes & Workshops with visiting professionals
• Connections to community services & resources
• Breastfeeding education & breast pump rentals
• Ongoing doula & breastfeeding supports

A calendar of events will be posted each month, so stay tuned!

This week is National Infertility Week 🤍

The heartbreak of negative tests month after month. The courage it takes to show up to baby showers while your own arms feel empty. The grief of loss, whether spoken or held silently.
The constant balancing act between hope and heartbreak.

Infertility can feel incredibly isolating, like you’re walking a path no one else can truly see. But you are not alone and your story matters.

As a doula, I hold space for all journeys into parenthood. The ones that are straightforward, and the ones that are long, complicated, and deeply painful. This week is a reminder that these experiences deserve to be acknowledged, supported, and talked about openly, not just this week, but every day.

Let’s continue to break the silence, soften the stigma, and create spaces where people feel safe to share their truth.

this week is national infertility week and i wanted to take a moment to acknowledge just how many of us are quietly carrying this

globally, 1 in 6 couples will experience infertility in their lifetime. that is not a small number… that is someone in almost every single room you walk into

and yet, it is one of the loneliest things a person can go through. because so much of it happens in private. in waiting rooms. on bathroom floors. in the quiet grief of another month, another negative, another loss that the world never knew about

infertility doesn’t look just one way
it lives in the woman who has been trying for years with no explanation. in the couple navigating IVF. in the mama who keeps losing her babies before she gets to keep one. in the woman who has decided she cannot keep going.. and is learning to grieve a future she always imagined

every single path deserves to be seen this week

if this is your story, i see you. and i’m sending you so much love 🤍

drop a 🌷 below if you or someone you love has been touched by infertility
let’s fill this comment section with how many of us there really are
