After Mr. Wilson finished his inspection bright and early this morning, Ms. Morgan was the first to try out the new slide! The slide is officially open once again!

Thanks to Mrs. Messom for organizing such a fun Sports Day for our students! As you can see from the smiles, lots of fun was had! 😊

Our Gr. 6s ushered local seniors to their seats for the afternoon showing of Grease! We are so proud of our students, the connections they are building in their community, and the kindness they offer to others, young and old. At Greentree we are planting seeds for a lifetime of learning and growing!

A huge congratulations to Ben Wilson in Gr. 5 for being the winner of the Orange Shirt Drawing Contest! Ben’s art was selected from all the submissions from Golden Hills School Division and therefore his design will be the feature design of our new Orange Shirts! We are very proud of all the work our teachers and students do to honour the Indigenous peoples who have lived here for generations and took care of the land we now call home.

Come on out and buy a hot dog or smokie to support Greentree Parent Council! Nothing better to warm you up on this chilly day! Thanks to bus driver Dave for the donation! Also a huge thanks to Freson Bros! Our community is an amazing place to learn and grow!

To celebrate Mother’s Day, last week our Gr. 5s hosted a Musical Trivia Showcase and Tea for the special folks in their lives! Thank you to Mrs. Farmer and Mrs. Lauridsen for engaging the students in learning ukulele for such a meaningful event!
