Our Creative Minds/Eager Learners class enjoyed an exciting field trip to the Pembina Nordic Centre on September 9, 2026! The program was provided and led by the experienced Nature Educators from the Eagle Point–Blue Rapids Parks Council.

The children had an amazing adventure exploring the Pembina Nordic Trails, creating leaf rubbings inside the rustic chalet and peeking into the attic upstairs. We also enjoyed storytime and participated in fun games that made the experience even more memorable!

It was a wonderful opportunity for our mighty learners to connect with nature, explore their surroundings and learn through hands-on experiences. What a fantastic day filled with curiosity, discoveryand fun!

🦃🍂 Thanksgiving Lunch!

Today we gathered together to enjoy a delicious Thanksgiving feast! Our special menu included:

• Roasted turkey with orange, lemon & herbs
• Homemade gravy
• Pumpkin mashed potatoes with cream cheese
• Buttered carrots, corn & green peas
• Cranberry jelly
• Dinner rolls

We are so thankful for all our wonderful children, families, and the special memories we get to make together! 🧡

Today we wore orange and spent the day learning, creating, and reflecting together in recognition of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation! We decorated orange shirts, created meaningful artwork, and learned that Every Child Matters. 🧡🪶

Our centre is truly grateful and honoured to be nominated in the Youth Empowerment category at the Mayor’s Gala Awards! We are incredibly thankful for this recognition and proud of the work our team does for the children and families we serve ❤️

Fire Station Field Trip 🚒🔥

Our Preschool room had such an exciting adventure visiting the fire station! We got to explore the trucks, learn about the important work firefighters do, and learn more about fire safety.

We most especially enjoyed getting to use the fire hose!!

A huge thank you to our local firefighters for welcoming us ❤️
