Aurora Elementary School Aurora is a PreK-4 school of approximately 370 students.Our goal is providing a well rounded education within a safe and caring environment.

Aurora was built in 1992. We are located in Drayton Valley, Alberta, 100 km. southwest of Edmonton. Our school division is Wild Rose Public Schools, whose central office is located in Rocky Mountain House. Our special programs include: Hot lunch program,Aurora Watch, after school P.E.,archery, annual concerts, monthly assemblies, after school care, choirs, drum club, cultural performances, daily

P.E., running/walking club, road runners, archery and health champions, house leagues, gr. 5 outdoor education, D.A.R.E., enrichment, , reading expedition, Safe & Caring Schools, French program, after school science club & cooking club. DISCLAIMER:

I know it seems early to be talking about this but just in case you want to avoid the lines at the stores for the back to school supply rush you have until Aug 1 to place your order here and have all supplies delivered to the school for pick up!

2026-27 School Supplies are now available for purchase online.
They will be delivered directly to the school before school starts and can be picked up to be labelled at that time. Please have your orders in before August 1, 2026.
