CE program taught by Poney Chiang integrating Chinese classics with modern research to treat pain and neurological diseases.

Training is available in Toronto, Montreal, New York, Australia, and Netherlands. Most patients seek acupuncture mainly for neuro-muscular pain conditions.Yet the typical TCM acupuncture curriculum emphasizes internal medicine at the expense of physical medicine skills. This continuing education program aspires to fill this void in clinical training. Eastern medicine reveres ancient canons as the

Started the first of 4 workshops series for a new group in Montreal Canada (April 16-19,2026). Thanks for the teaching assistants Isabel P,
Dorathee S, Karl N, Stephan P and Jean-Michel P who provided lots of support during the practical section. Students especially like the cadaver anatomy practical at McGuill University School of Medicine. Thanks to the overseas students for coming, D***y Calor from Netherlands, Pedro Matos from Portugal, Fabio Athayde from Brazil. Always a pleasure to share my research, insight and techniques with integrative minded practitioners from around the world. Last but not least, big thanks for Julie Yew-Hin for organizing, translating and hosting me. Without her support none of this would be possible.

Check out this interesting video by Corey Dillow on the parallel between Dry Needling with classical anatomy, ashi palpation, pain referral and needle technique. This is a good ammunition to debunk the myth that dry needling is not acupuncture.

Shhhhh…..dont let out the secret. But did you know the peaceful riverside town of Irvington NY is the heart of the Neuro-Meridian Integrative Acupuncture movement in America? Collaborating with Dody Chang .collective for the 16th time, we share with you our joint vision for acupuncture training that one day first year students will receive in TCM college. When we raise the tide, all the boats float. Congrats to Patrick Yoerger for competing his certification. Thanks to for assisting on the QL/Psoas techniques. Students leaned vagal-adrenal anti-inflammatory protocol, CIPN treatment, how to correct knee misalignment, stabilize hip with Trundelenberg sign, sciatica, winging of scapula and too much more to list here. Elevating the profession, one workshop at a time.

It was an honor to be invited as a speaker to the Deutch TCM Congress. Their theme this year is building bridges. It was inspiring to see different facets that we can work towards integrating east and west medicine. Even though this is a lofty goal, but at least we’ve taken strides on that journey, then we will eventually get there. So nice to meet associations representing different countries attend from across Europe. The unity and passion was unparalleled. Leaves me feeling North American association have something we can learn from the European associations. They are building bridges between nations, while some associations here in Canada and US are facing destruction of their bridges. Let’s fight for our profession! Not in-fighting in our profession.
