This week, the children had another great learning experience. Activities like \”Catch the Cup,\” \”Don’t Touch the Colour,\” and \”Flip the Number First\” made them happy and excited to play with their friends. They enjoyed the activities and wanted to repeat them. As an educator, I was glad to see how these activities encouraged teamwork, communication, and support. They also practiced listening, concentration, coordination, and following instructions. Some children took the lead, while others encouraged their friends and waited patiently. These activities helped the children develop problem-solving and critical-thinking skills in a fun way. They learned and built positive relationships with their peers. It was wonderful to see their smiles, laughter, and excitement.

This experience reminded me that children learn best when they’re actively involved and having fun. As an educator, I’ll continue to provide meaningful and enjoyable experiences that support their learning, development, confidence, and social skills.

Over the past week, the children loved to play and participate in different outdoor activities. They especially enjoyed playing at the park, connecting with nature, and visiting the fire station. During these experiences, the children were excited, curious, and actively engaged in exploring their surroundings. They had opportunities to run, climb, observe nature, ask questions, and interact with one another while developing their social and physical skills.

Visiting the fire station was another thrilling experience for the children. They learned about firefighters, their vital role in the community, and the equipment they use to ensure safety. Witnessing their joy and engagement inspired me as an educator to offer more outdoor learning opportunities. Outdoor activities foster learning through play, develop gross motor skills, build confidence, and strengthen connections with nature and the community.

Theme's Overview:
We have observed that whenever we played at the backyard, most of the toddlers were curious to play with dried leaves, sand, and rocks that they have seen while playing. Also, they got interested to nature because we use flowers and leaves as filllers also in our activities. As well as when we go out for a nature walk around the neighbourhood. With these observations, we had decided to expand their learnings in nature and at the same time help them love and appreciate nature around us. In addition, we will have still incorporate other summer fun activities.
