Adults: You were born with one body. Make the most of it at Tora. We will get you into shape if you feel you are not there yet, we will help you find your physical limit and push beyond... safely. You will learn a traditional martial art and benefit from all that comes with it. Our techniques have been recognized as effective with law enforcement and bodyguards. We have done this by making sure you know what you are doing before you work with partners. You don’t need to be shot with a gun to know it is effective; you don’t need to be injured to master effective techniques. Taiiku Class (4 and 5 year olds)
Designed specifically as a first activity for this age group, Taiiku focuses on helping your child learn to cooperate in a group activity. The 30 minute class combines lots of physical activity with a structure and a goal to improve the student’s attention span, self confidence, and mutual respect. These are the building blocks that will help your child lead with their actions and behaviours instead of reacting and following. Along the way they will learn the same karate techniques taught to the older students. Daytime Adult Karate
This is a morning class for that group of people whose work/life schedules differ from the typical. This is an adult class that focuses on all aspects of our style, including self defense and physical conditioning. Coffee is served after class.
