🧡 **Orange Shirt Day at Mount Pleasant Elementary** 🧡
Today, our Mount Pleasant community came together to recognize **Orange Shirt Day** through the powerful and beautiful song **“DREAMCHILD”** — a unique school anthem created by the students of **St. Willibrord Elementary School** in Châteauguay, Québec.
Written and recorded in collaboration with **N’we Jinan Artists**, the song celebrates the diversity of the student community by bringing together **English, French, and Kanien’kéha (Mohawk)**.
At the heart of the song is a simple but powerful message of love and connection:

A heartfelt **thank you to Ms. Monica** for teaching our students this meaningful musical piece and helping us use music to learn, reflect, connect, and show that every child deserves to feel seen, valued, and loved.

🧡 **Journée du chandail orange à l’école Mount Pleasant** 🧡
Aujourd’hui, notre communauté de Mount Pleasant s’est réunie pour souligner la **Journée du chandail orange** à travers la magnifique chanson **« DREAMCHILD »**, un hymne scolaire unique créé par les élèves de **l’école primaire St. Willibrord** de Châteauguay, au Québec.
Écrite et enregistrée en collaboration avec **N’we Jinan Artists**, cette chanson célèbre la diversité de la communauté scolaire en réunissant **l’anglais, le français et le kanien’kéha (mohawk)**.
Au cœur de la chanson se trouve un message tout simple, mais profondément significatif : l’amour et le lien qui nous unissent.
