Sister City Productions Inc. is pleased to announce our other weekly play for this upcoming season. It will take place on Tuesday nights throughout July & August.
“Stars In The Sky Morning” by Rhonda Payne follows the stories of several women and illustrates the hardships and limited life choices they faced growing up in rural Newfoundland.
The author also had a strong connection with D***o! The late Rhonda Payne (1950-2002) was born in Curling and grew up on the West Coast of Newfoundland however her Grandmother was Eliza Pretty of D***o (The Reverend Calvin Pretty was also her uncle). Rhonda loved the community of D***o so much, it was her wish that she would be interred at All Saints’ Anglican Cemetery. We are happy to be able to produce this wonderful play to keep her memory alive!
