🧡 **Orange Shirt Day – September 29** 🧡

Tomorrow, we invite families to encourage students to wear orange as we come together to honour and remember the children who were impacted by residential schools and to recognize the lasting effects on Indigenous communities.

Wearing orange is a simple way to show that Every Child Matters and to support the ongoing work of truth, reconciliation, and learning.

Thank you for helping us create a community where we remember, listen, learn, and stand together.

Attention DES Students and Families!

Our annual Terry Fox Run/Walk is coming up next week on Thursday, September 24th. We're excited to continue to participate in this important event! Our school goal is to raise $400, which is $1 per student.

Please note that while donating is not mandatory, we encourage you to contribute if you’re able. Every donation helps support cancer research and honors Terry Fox's legacy.

If you prefer to make a donation online, you can use the link below. All students will take part in the run/walk, regardless of donation.
Please note that this is a school-based activity. Community Terry Fox Runs are open to everyone.

Thank you for your support!
