I believe every child is a unique person, full of wonder, possibility and potential. When we support children in their growth and development we unlock all that possibility and potential. A safe, loving and supportive environment allows them to fully explore their interests, share their ideas and naturally learn through play. I have been blessed with a big heart and loving nature which has always served me well. I truly love children and enjoy spending time with them as they grow, learn and discover. My goal as a childcare provider is to have loving, supportive, caring and secure relationships with the children. When they come into my home, they will know they are welcomed, valued, loved and supported giving them confidence to explore their ideas, develop their imaginations and reach for their goals. I will strive to learn their interests and support their growth in those areas. I will help guide them in building
successful relationships with the other kids in care, by helping foster empathy, forgiveness, manners, respect, and the joy of play. I want children to be able to simply be kids in my care. Kids are natural learners, they have a magical way of seeing the world through their innocent, curious eyes. They see the possibility, they imagine the unseen, not worrying about what is possible, they simply strive to make it happen. So
much learning takes place when kids are able to play and be themselves. They naturally practice problem solving, literacy, numeracy, social skills and emotional growth.
