The tests have all been written and the break has officially begun for our students! Grads, all the best in your future endeavours. Everyone else, we look forward to seeing you back here on August 31. We hope you have a great summer!

The annual Grade 12 slurpee trip with Mrs. Bessey and Mrs. Morgan took place this morning. It was a smaller crowd than usual (some of our grads have already written all their diploma exams) but it was a bright spot in the day for everyone who was able to tag along. We're going to miss this crew!

Our grade 12 students decided to use the last of their grad budget to treat the school to a pizza lunch today. We are so impressed by their generosity and our leadership students' willingness to jump in and serve it! It was just the boost we needed on our second last day of classes before exam week officially begins.

The High School Prep class wrapped up their biggest assignment of the year: a Dragon's Den style business proposal. They came prepared with brochures, slideshow presentations, prototypes, websites and more. Ms. Beazley rallied together some of the staff to act as our Dragons and Mr. Hammel even shook hands on a few deals. Be sure to keep an eye out for the men's hygiene product subscription box he is eagerly backing (A.K.A. Monkey Box - picture no.2). It's sure to be a hit! 😉

Our band students put on an incredible show last night! It is always rewarding to see the culmination of all their hard work throughout the year. A huge thank you to Mr. Brodie for the support and guidance he's given his students all year (even when it had to be by video call), to Mr. Wassmer for pinch-hitting these last few weeks, and to the students for taking it all in stride. You have given new meaning to "the show must go on!"

The start of diploma exams seems like the perfect excuse to reminisce over grad photos and remember what all the hard work is for!
