Mountain View Communities Adult Learning Society A Journey Completed, A Legacy Preserved
Mountain View County Communities - MVCALS, a Non-Profit Society dedicated to supporting the lifelong learning goals of adults in Mountain View County, is announcing with a mixture of gratitude and a heavy heart the dissolution of the organization, effective June 30, 2023. It is with immense pride that we reflect upon the journey we have taken, the lives we have touched, and the positive impact we have made within our community.
Since our establishment MVCALS has been dedicated to helping learners achieve their goals. Over the years, many staff and volunteers have tirelessly worked towards creating meaningful change, and striving to improve the lives of learners.
Our organization's journey has been filled with countless inspiring moments, fueled by the unwavering support and dedication of our incredible team, partners, volunteers, and the community at large. It is crucial to acknowledge and express our deepest gratitude to all those who have been part of our journey. To our board members, who provided invaluable guidance and expertise, we extend our heartfelt appreciation.
As we announce the dissolution of MVCALS, we want to emphasize that our legacy will endure. While our organization will no longer exist, the impact we have made will continue to shape lives and communities. We are working to ensure the sustainability of our programs and initiatives and seamlessly transferring them to trusted partners and organizations committed to upholding our mission.
This decision to dissolve MVCALS was not an easy one. It was made after careful consideration of various factors, including shifts in the landscape of our work, changing community needs, and the viability of board members and volunteers to continue the work.
On behalf of MVCALS we thank you everyone who has been involved in the lives of learners over the many years of service we have provide.

These workshops are designed to help support and teach Adults (18+) how to navigate and function in this new world of Adulthood and will support the development of essential Life Skills.
