Hi folks, After 18 years of doing carving workshops my back has decided it's time for me to retire. I've enjoyed working with the thousands of students that have participated in the workshops over the years and have been rewarded many times over with enthusiastic comments, smiles, handmade cards and the occasional hug by the kids I've worked with. The "Carving for Kids" workshops have proven to be extremely popular and I'm pleased to be able to announce that my assistant Erin Larsen is taking over the reins and the workshops will continue! In the four years that Erin has been working by my side she has shown herself to be an accomplished and passionate instructor. To book a workshop for your class or for more information you can contact Erin at 778 896-3746 or email
[email protected]. Just a reminder, the carving workshops are also available for birthdays, youth groups, children's festivals and more!”

Started the last carving camp of the summer today with 13 budding Artists, seven of them repeat students. I'll post photos throughout the week of their progress.
Finished up the first of two carving camps I'm doing this summer. I was contracted to do four camps but it seems someone neglected to include the "Carving for Kids" camps in the Delta Cont. Ed. brochure. The first camp was a lot of fun with 8 enthusiastic and talented young Artists, the fourth camp for half of them!
I'm running 4 one week long "Carving for Kids" programs this summer for Delta Cont. Ed. Be sure to sign up early and as always parents/grandparents are encouraged to join in on the fun!
