Cooking and building forts are some of our favorite activities!
The children feel a sense of belonging when enacting out their daily experiences.

Our secret forest was a great adventure! We set up our shelter and cleaned up our space. We set up traps for the animals and made food for the birds which inlcuded a worm we found!!
Great team work by everyone!

Apples apples everywhere! We had a farm to table experience with the apples. Every morning we were so excited to see so many apples fallen down in the backyard! We got to pick apples from the tree in my backyard, weigh them, peal them, core them, found worms in them and wasp holes too and also the special 'star' in the centre!! We enjoyed eating them, made apple pie, apple sauce and apple cake. Every morning we got to choose an apple from the tree, pick it and eat it! They were sweet, juicy and crunchy! We got a lot of joy from this apple experience!! Till next year when we get to do it all over again!!

Beach days are the best, especially when the tide is coming in. A sensory overload of warm and cold water. The sun shimmering on the sand, the waves making the sun's reflection dance on the sand, you sway in sync with the movement...almost mesmerizing!
So facinating to see the live jellyfish swimming, their circlular bodies contracting and expanding, with the mini tentacles!
The dead jellyfish felt soft, slimey and squishy, like jello!
The live crabs were tickly in our palms! We released all the crabs that we caught after making a home for them.
We tried to catch the small fish, but they were much too fast for us!
I feel so blessed to share this experience with the children!

Hatching eggs is a rewarding experience especially when you see the expression of pure awe on the childrens faces when they get to hold the chick! We love going to farms to check out the hens and other animals.

Connecting with nature using our senses..touching, smelling, seeing, experiencing the wind, dark clouds, rain, sun, rainbow, blue skies with white clouds, and stillness all in one walk! Great adventure squelching in the mucky dirt!

Exploring the pools of water. A great sensory experince to see your feet disappear and feel the squishy soft dirt under your boots. Wiishing we could do this bare feet...perhaps in summer!!
