✨ 𝗦𝗣𝗔𝗖𝗘𝗦 𝗔𝗩𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗔𝗕𝗟𝗘 𝗡𝗢𝗪! ✨

Looking for a nurturing, engaging place for your child to learn, play and grow? 💙💚

At 𝗖&𝗦 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲, we offer two unique programs for children 30 months to school age — allowing families to choose the environment and schedule that works best for their child.

💙 𝗚𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗣 𝗗𝗔𝗬𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗘
🕖 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆–𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 | 𝟳:𝟬𝟬 𝗔𝗠–𝟱:𝟯𝟬 𝗣𝗠

Our Group Daycare offers families the flexibility of 𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗽-𝗼𝗳𝗳 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗸-𝘂𝗽 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀 within our full-day hours.

This program follows a 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆-𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱, 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱-𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵, where children learn naturally through play, exploration, creativity, friendships and hands-on experiences. Our educators build on the children’s interests while providing plenty of opportunities for indoor and outdoor play throughout the day. 🌿🧩🎨

💚 𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗟𝗬 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗖𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗘
🕣 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆–𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 | 𝟴:𝟯𝟬 𝗔𝗠–𝟰:𝟯𝟬 𝗣𝗠

Our ELC is also rooted in 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆-𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, but offers a little more structure and rhythm to the day through thoughtfully planned experiences, group learning, exploration and enrichment opportunities.

🌲 𝗧𝘄𝗼 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 — taking learning outdoors and giving children opportunities to explore, discover, take appropriate risks and connect with nature.

🤸 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗹𝘆 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗮 𝗚𝘆𝗺𝗻𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 and other special experiences are incorporated into our programming to keep learning active, engaging and fun.

Both programs provide caring educators, meaningful learning through play, friendships, outdoor experiences and a true 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲. 🏡💕

Today, our daycare friends explored how one simple dot can turn into something creative and completely unique! 🎨✨

Inspired by The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds, the children experimented with colours, patterns, and their own creative ideas to create their very own dot-inspired artwork.

We loved seeing how each child took the same simple starting point and made it entirely their own! 🔴🟡🟢🔵

Sometimes, all it takes is one little dot to spark a whole lot of creativity. ❤️

We also had the pleasure of welcoming 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀 𝗔𝗺𝘆 to the C&S team today! 🥰 We’re so excited to have them joining us and can’t wait for our children and families to get to know them.

☀️ Summer isn’t over quite yet! ☀️

Our merry little group of ELC friends hopped on the bus and headed into Ladner Village today to soak up some of the last few days of summer weather! 🚌☀️

🌳 First stop: Lion’s Park!
A brand-new park for all of our friends, and it was a hit! The donated trucks in the sand were an especially BIG favourite. 🚜🛻🪣

🧺 Next up: picnic lunch!
Because if there’s one thing we’ve learned this summer, it’s that our ELC crew LOVES a picnic! ❤️

🍦 And then… ICE CREAM!
After lunch, we walked over to Cookie’s Ice Cream for some complimentary scoops, courtesy of Brittenay, Brooke & Miles. 🩷🍦🍨🍧🩵

Such a thoughtful treat and the perfect way to finish off another ELC adventure! ☀️🚌

And really… is it any wonder one little friend fell asleep on the bus ride home? 😴😂❤️

Summer adventures with our ELC crew are pretty hard to beat! 🥰

📦✨ Who Needs Toys When You Have… Loose Parts?! ✨📦

You know that saying, “You buy them the toy and they end up playing with the box?” Well, today Child Care Options CCRR proved that theory! 😂

They set up an incredible collection of loose parts for the children to explore — cardboard tubes, boxes, crates, spools and more — and then simply let their imaginations take over.

There were no instructions and no “right” way to play. Just building, creating, problem-solving, experimenting, collaborating and imagining! 🧠💡

Sometimes the simplest materials create the BIGGEST ideas — and watching where their creative minds take them is pretty amazing. ❤️

💦☀️ 𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗗𝗢𝗢𝗥 𝗪𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗙𝗨𝗡! ☀️💦

What a perfect day for some water play! With the warm weather and sunshine, the children enjoyed a refreshing 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗮𝘆 filled with squirting water sticks, lots of laughter, and plenty of fun! 💦😄 The perfect way to cool off while enjoying the sunshine and playing with friends.

With a few of our friends away today and one of our teachers home sick, we had the opportunity to 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺𝘀 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 for the day. 🥰 It turned into such a lovely way to end the week — spending time, playing, and making memories with friends and educators from another room that we don’t always get to see!

𝗦𝘂𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲, 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗿 & 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 — a pretty great way to finish off the week! ☀️💦🫶🏻

🪨🎨 Scribble Stones & Nature Art! 🌿🧶

Inspired by Scribble Stones, we took our creativity outdoors for a park and art adventure! 🫶🏻

Just like the little stone in the story who discovers that he can bring colour and happiness to others, the children transformed ordinary stones into their own colourful creations using bright acrylic markers. 🌈🪨

But the creativity didn’t stop there! We gathered sticks from around the park and combined them with colourful yarn to create some amazing nature-inspired art. 🧶🌿

Stones, sticks, yarn, imagination and the great outdoors — the perfect combination for a beautiful afternoon of creativity and exploration! 😀🎨🫶🏻

🦄🍦 A Magical Unicorn Sundae Adventure! ✨🌈

Unicorn magic came to life in our ice cream cups today! 🦄✨ Our group daycare friends had so much fun creating our very own magical sundaes with colourful sprinkles and delicious gummies. 🌈🍬

The children used their creativity, made their own choices, and had so much fun designing their perfect sweet treat. Of course, the best part was getting to enjoy their creations together! 😋🍦

A day filled with creativity, smiles, sweet treats, and a little bit of unicorn magic! 🦄🌈✨♥️
