๐ I like living in Delta because it is quiet and calm. This tranquil city provides great comfort and safeness to live in. Other cities were too loud and busy for me. Also, there are a lot of activities which I can do after school. At Hawthorne elementary school my teachers are really friendly to me. My teachers take good care of me and assist me in having many opportunities to learn new things. I usually play sports or talk with my friends. I also joined the volleyball and basketball clubs to practice skills with my friends.ย ย
In Korea, I must go to academies after school to achieve high marks on my tests to win the competition in the Korean education system. Also, detailed support and care from the teachers is hard to expect. My friends and I do not have much time to spend playing sports and music. Also, Korean schools do not have many clubs or sports teams to join because most of the students do not join to study.ย ย

Today, our international students joined the excitement of the Spring Carnival at South Delta Secondary School! ๐ธโ๏ธFrom helping out at the popcorn ๐ฟ and cotton candy ๐ญ stations to taking part in the many games and activities throughout the festival, our students had a fantastic time connecting with classmates and contributing to the school community.
As the school year draws to a close, events like these are a wonderful reminder of the friendships, experiences, and memories made along the way. What a fun and meaningful way to celebrate the almost-end of another successful school year!
