Full time & Part time positions available! We are currently seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our Early Learning Center located in South Delta (TSAWWASASEN). It is important for the candidate to work well collaboratively as they will be working in a team of other early childhood educators. We hope to find an early childhood educator who is well experienced in the classroom and confident in their abilities to care for children as well as teach diverse areas of curriculum. The position will begin October or November 2021. The candidate must meet the following criteria:

Qualifications:

• ECE Certificate
• Infant Toddler Certificate - Preferred (higher wage applicable with IT certification)
• Valid First Aid
• Criminal Record Check

• Passionate about working with
children
• Organizational skills
• Classroom management skills
• Excellent teaching skills with the ability to incorporate ECE elements into the classroom
• Willingness to work collaboratively with staff and parents and create an inclusive learning environment
• Ability to work in a positive matter with other teachers and welcome diverse teaching philosophies
• Ability to communicate effectively with parents
• Ability to adapt and respond to change in a positive manner
• Punctuality
• Reliability

Experience:
• Childcare or school age teaching experience for 1-5 years

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Permanent

Compensation: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
