An evening of light fare and dialogue about The Willow Basket Project: Practices of Community Resilience at the Yukon School of Visual Arts

Join Ayana Young in conversation with Aubyn O'Grady and Jackie Olson of the Willow Basket Project for the final Illuminating Worldviews community dialogue event. Through land-based art and reclamation work in Dawson City, they braid together community, ecology, and creative resistance in response to today's complex environmental realities.

The Dawson City Community Library is pleased to present a reading and author talk by Cole Pauls, this Friday 9 May at 5:30 pm at the Library.
Cole Pauls is a Yukon comic book writer from Haines Junction, and a YSOVA grad.
He is a member of the Tahltan First Nation, and his Dakwäkãda Warriors series is written in English and Southern Tutchone.
Light refreshments will be served.

Come one come all to see the wild vessels SOVA students have created for the now-annual DUMP RUN assignment in Hannah's 3D Studio course. Students have spent the month sewing, welding, gluing, and riveting scavenged and salvaged items to bring them (safely🤞) down the sliding hill in the south end. Launch at 3PM!
