In place of our Piccolo choir, we're shifting to a more structured program for early primary students. Kindermusik Musicians is a 2-year progressive program that builds foundational skills over the course of four semesters. We'll be starting Year 1, semester 1 in September!

We area still polling for interest for two potential times - during the day for home-schooled children, or late afternoons for children attending school. Our afternoon class has shown quite a bit of interest so far, and we'll be able to open it up for registration August 1st!

REMINDER - There are just 3 days left to get the early-bird choir rates for the upcoming season!

To continue offering high-quality choral programming and ensure the long-term sustainability of the DCCS, we will be making a modest adjustment to tuition fees for the upcoming season. That's why, until July 25th, we're doing early registration at last year's rates! Anyone registering before the deadline of July 25th will also be entered into a draw for a hoodie in the fall.

Please note a slight change to the ages on our kids and youth choir. The Piccolo Junior Choir will not be offered this year - instead, check out our Kindermusik Musicians program for the 5-7 age range.

Calling budding stage performers! Learn how to use your voice to convey character on the stage in this camp taught by Caitlyn, starting in just 10 days.

15 hours of group instruction plus 1 hour of private lessons AND a performance to showcase the kids' hard work!

Been working on some songs and ready to bust them out this summer? Peace Country Voices is running again this year at Dawson Creek Exhibition & Stampede on Saturday August 8th, and there are CASH prizes!

There are three age categories:

🎙️ Kids (6 to 12 years) - $6 entry
🎙️ Youth (13 to 18 years) - $6 entry
🎙️ Adult (19+) - $10 entry

Entry fees are subject to an addition $4 annual membership. Register online at www.dawsoncreekex.ca or in person at the DCEA Summer Office.

There's still time to register for our Performance Intensive vocal/theatre camp happening July 27th to 31st. We need a couple more registrations to make this camp happen.

We've merged Levels 1 and 2 for the July Kindermusik sessions so that we have more littles in the class to interact with one another. There's still room for 4 more children and their grownups to join!
