Dauphin Ukrainian Nursery School & Kids Club

A huge thank you to Dauphin Consumers Co-op for giving our preschool and school age groups a VIP tour of the store! The kids had a blast learning about all things behind the scenes and the different departments! They especially enjoyed the cake with their afternoon snack!

Today for our last and final guest reader for “I Love to Read” month, we had one of our parents come read to the preschool group! She is not only one of our parents but our children also know her as the Principal of the school!

Huge thank you to Pani Stoski for taking time out of her busy schedule to come read to the children! The children really enjoyed the stories and there was lots of laughs!

Yesterday for our “I Love to Read” month special guests we had #3 Aiden Murray, #24 Sheldon Shyiak and #27 Josh Schmidt from the Dauphin Kings come read some stories to the preschool group!

Their favourite book they read to them was “I Need a New Butt,” there was so much giggles happening!

We would like to send a big thank you to them for the visit! Our preschool group have been very into hockey since the Olympics were on, so this was a favourite for them!

We had another special guest come and join us today for “I Love to Read” month to read to the preschool and sadochok children!

This morning we had Tara from the Dauphin Public Library read to our children! We always enjoy when Tara comes and reads!

We had another very special guest come read for “I Love to Read” Month to the preschool and sadochok children this morning.

We would like to send a huge thank you out to the Northwest Métis Council Inc. and their staff for bringing Elder Elizabeth Genaille who read a book to the children in her language. We always enjoy when she comes to read to us every year!

We also want to say a big thank you to the Northwest Métis Council for donating a ELCC Métis Culture Kit! The kids are going to love doing all the activities in there!

Today we had one of our fabulous Board Members come read to our Preschool and Sadochok children for “I Love to Read” month!Thanks again to Lindsay for coming to read! The kids really enjoyed your stories!

We even countinued the reading into snack time because they were having so much fun!

Yesterday we had a very special guest come read to our preschool and sadochok children today for “I Love To Read” month.

A huge thank you to Mark and Liza’s mom Tetiana for coming to read! The kids really enjoyed her reading in Ukrainian and English! The children especially enjoyed her bringing Daisy the Caterpillar to listen to the stories aswell.

We love when parents want to be involved in our classroom!

Today we started off “I Love To Read” month with buddy reading with the children of Smith-Jackson Ukrainian Bilingual School! The preschool and Sadochok children enjoyed reading with the older children from the school!
