Maya from Germany first came to Nova Scotia with NSISP in September 2024, where she lived with Sienna and her family. This summer, Maya returned to Nova Scotia with her own family, to visit Sienna and her two daughters and reconnect with the place she once called home.
It’s so special to see the friendships and connections made through NSISP continue long after an exchange comes to an end!

Sapphire first came to Nova Scotia in 2017 and spent four years with the NSISP, graduating high school in 2021. This summer, she returned to Nova Scotia for a two-week visit with her former host mom, Amber.
Her visit was filled with plenty of Nova Scotia adventures, including a trip to PEI with Amber’s mom and sister-in-law, seeing the Tall Ships Sylvia on Halifax Harbour, paddleboarding, and a day at Crystal Crescent Beach with Amber’s granddaughter, Bailey.
It was so special to have Sapphire back in Nova Scotia and to see that the connections made through the NSISP continue long after graduation!

From host sisters in Canada to friends reunited in the south of France.
Hannah and Maud hadn’t gone more than a month apart since they first met, so seeing them together again - proudly wearing their Canadian cowboy boots - was such a special reminder that the friendships made here can truly last a lifetime.
