Last weekend, a group of students from Lockview High School set out on the Shubenacadie River for an unforgettable tidal bore rafting adventure with Shubie River Wranglers.

From big waves to plenty of laughs, it was a day filled with excitement and memories that will last a lifetime!

Denise and Scott recently had the chance to visit Gaye from Türkiye, who was their international student in 2016–2017, while travelling in the UK. They enjoyed a wonderful day catching up with Gaye and her husband, Ben, and sharing memories from her time in Nova Scotia.

Gaye told them that her two years in Nova Scotia were such a special and formative time in her life.

Reunions like these are a great reminder that the connections made through international education often last far beyond graduation. Gaye will always be part of the Anderson family's forever family.

Cecilia from Italy loves spending weekends with her host family. During little host sister Layla’s gymnastics class, host dad David joked, “Ceci’s turn!” Cecilia lit up, jumped in, and joined Layla for the parent-and-tot portion of the class.
