May 2nd - Paddle Canada Flatwater Instructor Certification Maintenance clinic 8:30 - 2 PM. Has your instructor certification lapsed or close to expiring?? This clinic is for you. $150. Dartmouth.
May 3rd - Paddle Canada Flatwater Skills 2/Advanced Flatwater. Excellent course to build SUP technical skills and confidence. Prerequisite for instructor courses. $120
8:30-12:30 PM Dartmouth.
May 9/10th - Paddle Canada Flatwater 2/Advanced Flatwater Instructor Course. Looking to teach SUP, expand your leadership and confidence, enhance your outdoor skills portfolio, this course is for you! $499

It seems like the ocean has fallen asleep for the past month with our lack of waves but we have had a great run of sea breezes and excellent conditions for kiting, winging, and foiling! Adding a wind or paddle sport to your ocean repertoire can definitely multiply your days on water in Nova Scotia.

Staying committed to the process…practice makes progress, not pretty but progress.
Pumping is an essential skill needed to travel across flat sections to link multiple waves when surf and sup foiling. My goal by end of summer is to be linking multiple rides for that endless wave feeling that foiling can create.

Registration is live for our 2025 Life Rolls On event at Martinique Beach Nova Scotia. This is a call to action for volunteers to register as preparations are already underway. The event always needs lots of experienced surfers and ocean enthusiasts to provide the best and safest experience for our local adaptive surfers.
If you have volunteered with LRO in the past you already know how magical of an experience it is for everyone involved. If you are new to volunteering with this event you are in for a life changing day!
Looking forward to seeing all adaptive athletes and our forever growing volunteer family on August 16th, 2025!
