Stop asking the question "What's the strum pattern for that song?".
Strumming a guitar requires RHYTHM skills. But, arguably, rhythm is the least taught subject among guitarists...who, instead, tend to rely on memorized (canned) strum patterns. I continue exploring why the MAJOR SCALE is good to know by revealing The NATURAL MINOR SCALE. KNOWING the major scale well allows you to easily GET the natural minor scale. They are, in fact, closely related. GUITARISTS don't tend to access these scales early in their studies. Do so at your risk of confusion and overwhelm.

Follow me as I produce an ongoing series of videos covering topics that guitarists tend to ignore or simply don't know about.
