The value of observation. 🌱

After a month together, I noticed something about our new group—they naturally gravitate toward each other. When one starts an activity, the others often want to join, imitate, help and explore together.

So instead of asking the children to fit the curriculum, I’m adjusting the curriculum to meet the children in front of me.

That’s the beauty of observation in Montessori: observe, listen, then prepare the environment in response.

Sometimes children tell us what they need without saying a word. 🤍

Through pretend play, children explore the loving routines they see in their own families—caring, comforting, helping, and nurturing. These simple moments help build empathy, language, responsibility, and a deeper understanding of family roles.
