Solstice Sounds brings together the Lake City Orchestra, Ekko Cello Ensemble, and Ekko Kids Choir for an evening of music, community, and shared artistry. As the season shifts into summer, audiences are invited to experience a thoughtful and uplifting concert featuring orchestral works, and collaborative performances. Held in support of PWYC donation initiatives, this special event celebrates the power of local arts to connect and inspire. The Listening Room Concert Series continues with another incredible local musician.

Featured Artist: Michelle Ryder

Michelle Ryder is a dynamic and talented female singer from Halifax, Nova Scotia. Known for her electrifying stage presence and powerful vocals, Michelle delivers soul-stirring renditions of classic rock hits as well as her own successful original songs. With a remarkable vocal range, she captivates audiences with her commanding performance skills. Backed up by Ashford Crawford on the keys, this is an evening you won’t want to miss.

Saturday, June 13th, 2026 at 7:30PM
Doors Open: 45 minutes before the performance

Guests are invited to arrive early, settle into the space, and enjoy light refreshments before the music begins. Our reception room will also be open during intermission for those who wish to relax or enjoy quiet conversation. Non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.

Listening Room Etiquette
To preserve the listening room experience for everyone, guests are kindly asked to refrain from conversation while the artist is performing. Conversation is warmly welcomed before the show and during intermission.

Adam gave everyone an impromptu fiddle lesson last Friday at the end of the day… what ensued after is only a little bit of chaos. 😆😂🎶.

The Biweekly Open Mic starts back up THIS SATURDAY, MAY 9TH, hosted by the incredible ! Come bring your instrument, hang out, and be a part of something special.

This a sober, inclusive, and safe space for folks (including young people!) to come try new things, play in front of others, and connect with others.

SINGIN’ PROUD! SINGIN’ OUT LOUD!

GET EKKCITED and join us for an incredible night of music, performance and celebration of pride and the arts! The fantabulously talented Richard Rockhard will be joining EkkoChamber and Out Loud Community Choir for music from Sister Act, Pentatonix, Hercules, Train, and a whole lot angsty millennial fun!

All proceeds go towards Ekko Performing Arts Society’s mission to offer high quality d music and performing arts lessons for youth who might not otherwise have access. Thank you for showing up time and time again, supporting us, and standing behind the arts.
