Euphoria, an elated feeling of happiness, confidence, and well being❤️
Euphoria Child Care's goal is to promote this feeling in all who attend🥰 Euphoria Child Care's goal is to promote this feeling in all who attend. Providing an environment that is safe, loving, nurturing, respectful, and fun will
allow children to feel a sense of Euphoria. My philosophy is that children learn best through play, hands on experiences, and mother nature our greatest teacher. Through our nature based calendar we will explore, discover, learn, and grow together. Connection with nature, healthy lifestyles, and ourselves we will develop all areas of our being. Emotional, intellectual, physical, and social. Learning to love ourselves unconditionally as well as others. Developing compassion, empathy, gratitude, and respect for all living beings. Activities and experiences will be age appropriate and encompass each area of development. We will learn through nature, books, story telling, art activities, games, puzzles, drama, music, toys/materials, and most importantly by doing. Field trips will be taken frequently to encourage active lifestyles, education, and a connection with nature. Living, learning, exploring, discovering, and respecting it's wonders. Another focus will be active life style and healthy choices. Children will learn about nutrition, health, and the importance of being active while having fun. Hours of Operation

Field trips provide children with an opportunity to explore, discover, learn, grow, be active, and learn through hands on experiences. We will be going on regular field trips to Cumberland Number 6 Mine Park, Village Park and the Cumberland Library. We will also be going on field trips in my van to local parks, beaches, trails, etc. All children under 9, less than 4 feet 9 inches will be fastened in a CSA approved booster seat. I have my class 4, both liability and ICBC insurance coverage for these excursions. A first aid kit, cell phone, and emergency consent cards will be brought along. Parents/Guardians will be informed of any field trips through open communication and our monthly nature based calendar. We will be going outdoors rain or shine, so please provide your child with:
Mud/rain pants, appropriate foot wear, and a water proof gloves and coat. Slippers or inside shoes for the tiled basement floor. Water bottle. Sunscreen if you want it applied. Sun hat, bathing suit, and towel. One up to date picture, for your child's files. Enrollment Policies
Completed forms, registration fee, deposit fee, and that month's fees must be received prior to enrolment. All cheques must be dated for the first of the month. There is no refund of fees for any days absent or missed due to family holidays or illness. If you have booked a space/spot you are resposible for payment of the spot even if child is ill or your plans change. Space cannot be held if your child is absent from care (such as vacation, sickness, etc.) unless the full fee is paid for the entire month, whether your child attends full/part time. Any fees that are returned NSF must be reimbursed to the cost of the NSF cheque(s), and a $25.00 NSF charge. Parents/Guardians are responsible for full fees. Please make all cheques payable to Euphoria Child Care. A 60 day written notice must be received in person if you are withdrawing your child from care. Notices are due the first of the month. If you require help with your monthly payments, subsidies are available through Social Assistance for those who qualify. Parents on subsidy are responsible for full fees up front and will either be reimbursed or fees can be applied to the next month. Any unpaid fees will have a late charge of $5.00 per day until the full fee is paid. If payment is still not received by the 5th of the month in which the fee is owed, this will result in immediate withdrawal of the child and possible court action. CCFRI Grant will be claimed each month for your child and will show on the invoice. Just minus that from your monthly total and that is your amount owing. There will be a 3 week trial period for each child new to Euphoria Child Care. If for some reason the Program is not working for your child and/or the group an appointment will be set up to discuss this. Guidance Policy
Through positive guidance techniques children will learn empathy, compassion, respect, and understanding of one another. Through encouragement and positive reinforcement positive behaviour will be acknowledged and encouraged. Children will be encouraged to work through situations and problem solve themselves, however an educator will step in when necessary. Modelling appropriate skills, actions, and language to help educate appropriate ways to deal with any given situation. When a situation arises and all alternate guidance has been exhausted a time with yourself for a few minutes may be implemented. Child and educator will then discuss what happened and together problem solve a resolution. Choices will be given wherever possible. Clear, consistent, limits will be positively stated and reinforced, taking into consideration the individual needs of each child. The educator will at all times make sure that the environment is a safe for the group. Food & Drink
Please bring healthy and nutritious snacks and lunches each day. The promotion of healthy choices and eating habits is an important part of the program. Please pack water only for our program. We will be having picnics/snacks & lunches outdoors every day(weather permitting of course). Thank you for your support, sharing your child with me, and becoming part of my family.
