After an incredible weekend of over 80 auditions filled with talent, bravery, and so much heart, we are thrilled to announce our four lead Matildas for Matilda the Musical Jr.

These four young performers blew us away with their confidence, storytelling, and powerful voices. We cannot wait to watch each of them bring Matilda’s magic to our stage!

A huge congratulations to these talented young actors and a big thank you to every performer who auditioned. The talent in our community continues to inspire us, and we are so excited to begin this theatre journey together.

Down the Rabbit Hole Theatre Co. is thrilled to announce that we are planning on returning to the Junior Theatre Festival in Sacramento 2027!

After an unforgettable experience, we are beyond excited to once again bring our talent, heart, and storytelling magic to one of the largest celebrations of youth musical theatre in the world.

This festival is more than a performance opportunity it’s:

We are beyond grateful to our incredible sponsors who helped make the journey to Junior Theatre Festival possible.

Because of your generosity, our students experienced so much more than a trip…they experienced inspiration, growth, and the magic of theatre on a whole new level.

From world-class workshops and performances to learning from Broadway professionals, making new friends, and gaining confidence both on and off the stage, JTF is truly a life-changing experience.

Our students represented not just DTRH Theatre Co, but Canada , as the only Canadian team at the festival . 🇨🇦🎭
