Have you ever caught yourself saying the same thing in almost every lesson? ๐Ÿ˜„

Whether it's "One more time," "Let's count out loud," or "Can you hear the difference?" we all have those go-to teaching phrases that seem to come up every week.

๐ŸŽน What's one thing you say in every lesson? Share your favourite (or most repeated!) phrase in the comments. We'd love to hear it!

Friday at the APTA Conference is packed with practical ideas, fresh inspiration, and sessions you can bring straight back to your studio. ๐ŸŽน

Weโ€™ll hear from Christopher Fisher on motivation, mindset, grit, and the important role parents play in student success. Katherine Fisher will explore rote teaching, and Wendy Markosky will share ideas on Baroque articulation and improvisation.

There will also be plenty of time to connect with other teachers, visit the tradeshow, enjoy the banquet, and end the day with a concert featuring Christopher and Katherine Fisher.

Which Friday session are you most excited for? Let us know in the comments!

๐ŸŽ‰ Which conference session are you most excited for?

There are so many fantastic presentations this year, but if I had to choose just one, Iโ€™d have to say Session 7: Katherine Fisher โ€“ โ€œGroups & Games: Teaching Ideas for Beginner Level Students.โ€

As someone who loves creating engaging, play-based learning experiences for beginner pianists, Iโ€™m always looking for fresh ideas to make lessons more meaningful, effective, and fun. I canโ€™t wait to take away new strategies to bring back to my own studio!

Now itโ€™s your turn! ๐Ÿ‘‡
Which session are you most excited to attend at the 2026 APTA Conference?
