I'm looking for adults aged 55 to 78 who have always wanted to play the guitar but have never had the chance. I'm offering a series of free lessons to test out a brand new guitar learning system for 2024. If you can commit to a consistent one-hour time slot each week for four weeks and can come to my studio in West Kelowna, please message me and I'll get in touch to set things up. I've been teaching guitar privately and playing professionally for over 40 years, and I'm excited to help you achieve your musical goals in a fun and efficient way.

Tomorrow evening I have the great pleasure of making some music with my good friend and fellow guitarist Sean Bray. We will be at Sandhill Winery in Downtown Kelowna from 7-9 PM as part of their Jazz and Art series. They are located at 1125 Richter Street. Come on down, enjoy some w**e and atmosphere and say hello. Cheers!!

I had such a fun day yesterday. Morning live stream on Kelowna Now with the wonderful Anna Jacyszyn promoting her upcoming concert at the Creekside Theatre Oct 28. Last night at the Salmon Arm Jazz Club with Joe Auty, Campbell Ryga, Will Friesen and Jake Mcintyre-Paul.

Walking after the sun begins to set is the only way in this heat. It also reveals
amazing vista's.😎

Throwback Thursday

I bought this 70's gibson SG used for $275.00
I eventually traded it straight across for the Aria Pro 2 Herb Ellis Model Archtop that I still own today. The guy that sold me the SG said it had belonged to Frank Marino, but I have no proof of it. I'm guessing this photo is from about 1982 or 1983, based on the perm.😎

I have been learning to make videos with all of the time I've had at home during the pandemic. This is the first in a weekly series of videos exploring short improvised compositions created with a simple looping set up.
