This quote from an unknown author has been resonating with me lately. The chaos of clutter, rushed schedules and general busyness of life do not have to dictate how we feel inside.

I take care of the clutter and disorganization in my spaces, finances and schedule to feel the peace that comes with constructive order; we are each a work in progress.

Additionally, on a spiritual level I choose to have the influence of the Holy Spirit in my life guiding me and giving me inner peace even as I also strive for orderly and tidy spaces to work and live in.

I wonder if Marie Kondo is still folding all her kids clothes like this after she admitted publicly recently that she doesn't tidy the same way now that she has 3 kids?!

For all the moms out there who still aspire to this standard....its okay if your kids clean clothes sit in the laundry basket folded haphazardly for a week - or a month if I'm honest about what happens at my house!

But truly though, this is the best way to fold your clothes (and your kids clothes too!) so that you can see what you actually have when you open the drawer. I'm helping a client tidy up her drawers tomorrow and will be using these same folding techniques from the method.

When we organize and from our homes and businesses we free ourselves to find what really matters most to each of us......

Most often this will be more time, more free space, more enjoyment with our friends and family, more peace and tranquility, more productivity. This list could be endless!
By ridding ourselves of everything that doesn't matter, we realize that the things that really do matter....aren't things.

Tidy Life Concepts Professional Organizing brings you an in . This spare bedroom come office and linen closet catch-all needed a 's touch after the client's grown child needed to return to the empty nest....which wasn't so empty. Year upon year means the average family can accumulate many items and if we don't take the time to evaluate what we own, our belongings will soon own us and our space.

This room needed to function as a multi-purpose bedroom for a young working adult, tucked away family home office, linen closet and more, but first we had to sort through nearly every item in the room. True organization can be a lengthy process, but it is well worth the effort...just look at this transformation!!

What steps we took:
a. Remove all items from the room (closets included) and purge what wasn't needed or move it to a more appropriate space within the home
b. Rearrange and swap out some furniture to allow this room to function better as a bedroom
c. Replace items into the bedroom, office area and linen closets as needed, arranging in a functional and esthetically pleasing way.

This project was completed with the which is a total of 6 hours with an . My clients were motivated and worked hard to accomplish this masterpiece. I spent two separate days with them and they also worked hard on this project in between our sessions with homework, but we managed this project in just over two weeks.
