Cranbrook District Teachers' Association represents 300+ teachers in the Southeast Kootenays We are an autonomous local within an amalgamated district.

Cranbrook District Teachers’ Association, Local 2 of the BCTF serves all the public school contract teachers and teachers teaching on call in Cranbrook. Our sister local is Fernie District Teachers’ Association which is Local 1 of the BCTF which represents all public school teachers in the Elk Valley from Elkford to Jaffray.
