Apply to the new Wildfire & Community Resilience training, delivered by Stillwater Consulting Ltd. in partnership with Lil’wat Forestry Ventures. There are still a few seats left!

The six-week training program runs from April 7 to May 15, 2026, in Mt. Currie, BC. This fully funded, intensive course delivers 240 hours of training across essential field skills, hands-on experience, and industry-recognized certifications to prepare you for success in the natural resource sector, including training that meets Type 2 fire crew standards. You’ll learn from experienced instructors while gaining practical experience.

Our Story

From humble beginnings in 2012, Stillwater Consulting began as a sole proprietorship with a handful of prospective clients and a small team of passionate, driven and extremely talented staff. We immediately established a reputation for delivering consistent, successful work - even on the most ambitious projects - resulting in rapid growth and the incorporation of the company after only three months. Today, Stillwater Consulting is best recognized for our work providing innovative and highly-effective skills training, particularly within the forestry sector.

In addition to custom training, we continue to deliver a diverse range of projects including business development, management, marketing and communications. We take a personalized approach to project management, taking the time to fully understand the needs of our clients in order to deliver lasting results on time and on budget. We understand that every project will face challenges, but adhere to a philosophy of remaining calm, flexible and focused, even in stressful situations.
