The child, today, as they are. 🌱

One of the most important parts of my work as a Montessori guide is learning to really see the child in front of me.

Not who I expected them to be that day.
Not what I had planned for them to do.
Not where I think they should be by now.

This child. Today.

I observe. I listen. I notice what interests them, what challenges them, what brings them joy and what they might need from me in that moment.

And from there, I prepare, invite, guide, protect—and sometimes simply make space.

Because children are always showing us something when we take the time to notice.

At Oui Montessori, the child in front of us is where the work begins. 💜

Oui to wonder. ✨

Childhood is full of little things that adults can easily walk past.

A bug crawling across the floor.
A funny-shaped cloud.
A friend coming back after being away.
A new sound, a new word, a tiny discovery.

At Oui Montessori, we try to leave room for those moments.

Sometimes that means putting aside what I thought we were going to do and getting curious alongside the children.

We look. We wonder. We talk about it. We laugh. We ask questions. And sometimes we simply enjoy the excitement of discovering something together.

Because not every meaningful moment needs to be planned.

The little moments matter.
And childhood matters. 💜
