We’re nearing the end of September, and it’s hard to believe we’ve already been back at school for nearly a month! Where has the time gone? 🍎📚
This year we have two extra additions to Irvine School… and neither one is a student! 🪿😂
Ms. Ziegler has a porch goose in Part-Time Kindergarten, where Mrs. Waddlesworth has made herself right at home! And we now have another very fashionable goose holding down the fort at the front office.
Of course, the office goose needed a name, so we’ve started a school-wide naming competition! 🪿👑
Classes have been submitting their best and funniest suggestions, and the winning class will receive Tim Bits! 🍩
The winning name will be chosen on October 1st, so there’s still time to get those creative goose-naming brains working!
Some of the suggestions so far include:
🪿 Dolly Honking
🪿 Glenda the Goose
🪿 Doris
🪿 Miss Quackington
🪿 Rebecca Ragoosea
🪿 Reba Honkintyre
🪿 Honkzilla
🪿 Lucy Goosey
🪿 Myrtle
🪿 Ageesia Keys
We’re not sure how we’re going to choose a winner from this list… there are some serious contenders! 😂
A huge thank you to Mr. Rayner for letting us purchase our goose — and, of course, an entire array of outfits! Because every school office goose needs a wardrobe. 😂🪿👗
Stay tuned to find out what our newest Irvine staff member will officially be called!
First picture is Part time Kindergartens goose!
