We did another fundraiser for the Food Bank. Here I am dropping off the perishables and cash at their office. They were very appreciative.

The Asana Room is located in downtown Courtenay. There is plenty of street parking for your convenience. Classes are on based on sign-up sessions.
There are always a few drop-in spots available by reservation through the studio website. Based on the Krishnamacharya lineage of teaching, classes are informed by both the Ashtanga and Iyengar methods, combining dynamic movement with attention to alignment and intelligent sequencing. The Asana Room in-person 200 hour, Yoga Alliance Certified teacher training is starting on Saturday, September 24. Pass along the information to anyone you think may be interested in joining us.
This a reminder that there is an information session tomorrow at 10 am on zoom about the upcoming 200 hour in-person teacher training. The link is on my website as well as my last FB post. Pass the information along to anyone who might be interested.
Please join me on Saturday, September 3 at 10 am for an information session about the upcoming in person 200 hour Yoga Alliance certified teacher training. The training runs from September until February with bi-weekly in-person weekend sessions and bi-weekly synchronous Wednesday evening sessions on zoom.
The info session will be on zoom, since the studio is still on hiatus until mid September. The zoom link is below.

A six-week sign up series starts tomorrow. It will be the last set of classes until the fall. You can sign up for all six, or book into one of 3 drop-in spots offered weekly. Looking forward to seeing all your beautiful faces.
The announcement yesterday regarding the gradual re-opening of gyms and fitness studios makes it possible for me to have half of the students registered for class come one week and the other half come the next with an additional two drop in spots each week. I will send messages to everyone regarding this schedule breakdown over the next couple of weeks. Hopefully, we'll all be able to come at the same time again soon.
The current health order, which restricts in-person fitness and yoga classes continues. Dr. Bonnie Henry removed the expiration date so there is no telling when we will be back together again.
