Valerie Willey has a passion for Orchestral music, especially for small ensembles. With more than fifteen years experience as an educator and performer, students will find a fun, inspiring and comfortable learning experience. Valerie also runs ensemble classes and workshops.

While Eli Swift has primarily studied jazz, he explores a wider range of genres such as fusion and rock/pop that incorporates the harmonic language of jazz. During his time at the Victorious Conservatory of Music, he also studied composition and arranging for string quartet, jazz combo, and big band.

Eli offers instruction for the Acoustic and Electric Guitar, Electric Bass, and Piano.

Adam is a multi-instrumentalist who has been an active part of the Canadian music scene for over a decade. His ability to fill a multitude of roles has kept him in demand as supporting musician for many notable Canadian artists on festival stages across North America, and he has produced multiple albums of his own music. As and educator, he helped over a thousand people set foot on their own musical journey through one-on-one music education.

Adam offers instruction for the Piano, Acoustic & Electric Guitar, Double Bass, Electric Bass, Ukulele, Clarinet, and Music Theory.

We are SO PROUD to announce this September we are officially launching our bursary programmes!

We know firsthand the impact assistance like this can have on music education and we’re thrilled to be able to pay it forward.

This year’s bursaries include tuition assistance for post-secondary music education for Grade 12’s and recent graduates from SD71, tuition assistance for families in need who have kids in music lessons here in the Comox Valley, and tuition for one of CYMC’s amazing instrumental/choral programmes.
