Art Adventures has lots of offerings coming up for the holidays, and I am well aware that Halloween and Christmas are the kids’ two favourite times of the year, so I’m making sure to bring something special into the mix!
~ Halloween and Christmas themed after-school classes
~ A one-day Family Painting Day over the holidays
~ A 4-day Christmas Break Art Camp
~ A one-day kids camp after Christmas for those last few days before school starts again
I’m especially excited about the Family Painting Day! This one is for ages 8+ and gives kids, parents, grandparents, siblings and friends a chance to come in and paint together.
Take a look at the offerings and if you click and go to the booking page you will be able to view the images we will be creating for each one.

About the Instructor
All classes are held at the Art Adventures studio located across the street from Courtenay Elementary and are taught by founder Alicia Lumb.
Alicia is a passionate, classically trained artist with a deep commitment to helping others create high-quality, meaningful artwork they can feel proud of. Whether yourself or your child is a seasoned artist or just starting out, Alicia creates a space where even beginners can learn to paint a Van Gogh skyline with confidence.
Her artistic education includes studies at Emily Carr University, North Island College, and the Art Institute of Vancouver. Alicia brings over a decade of professional experience as an environment painter for animated films, television shows, and video games.
Today, she finds joy in sharing her love of painting with people of all ages. Her teaching is rooted in creating a safe, welcoming space where creativity can thrive and artistic flow comes naturally.
