We’re back in ACTION!
Here at Isfeld, we have a very passionate and involved Parent Advisory Council that meets once a month on a Monday evening from 7-9pm in the Learning Commons (Library).
A school Parent Advisory Council (PAC) is important because it acts as the official collective voice for parents and guardians, helping shape the school.
Key reasons why PACs are important….
⭐️ Advising the School: PACs give parents a structured way to share feedback with school principals, staff, and school boards on policies, programs, and school activities.
⭐️ Boosting Student Success: Research shows that when parents get involved in school life, students achieve higher grades, feel more satisfied, and have lower dropout rates.
⭐️ Building Community: PACs help organize school events, hot lunches, and other school activities that bring families together and provide extra resources or gear the school may need.
⭐️ Supporting Parents: They host parent education sessions, help families navigate the school system, and make sure diverse family perspectives are heard.
Please join us at our first meeting on September 21 st at 7:00pm! We will also host our AGM this night!
All Parents & guardians welcome! Hope to see you there.
