Viscount Alexander Public School - UCDSB

Don't forget to wear your jersey tomorrow. Every student who has a jersey on will get their name placed in a draw for tickets to the Seaway Shootout this weekend!

Next week will be an exciting and engaging week at Viscount as students learn about Cornwall’s rich hockey history!
On Tuesday, students will design their own hockey pucks to decorate their classroom doors and help bring some hockey spirit to our school.
On Wednesday, we will hold a school-wide hockey assembly. We are excited to welcome members of the Cornwall Colts, a few former Cornwall Royals alumni, and City of Cornwall recreation staff.
Our assembly will include a special video celebrating our hockey family at Viscount, hockey trivia, hockey songs, and the “Impossible Shot” games, created and led by Mme Pilon.
On Friday, students are encouraged to show their hockey spirit by wearing a jersey (any sports jersey) to school! Students who participate will have a chance to win one of two premium hockey tickets for the Seaway Shootout game on Saturday, October 17 at 7:00 p.m. at the Ed Lumley Arena.
We are looking forward to a fun week celebrating hockey, our school community, and Cornwall’s hockey history!

We’re learning all about the life cycle and parts of a pumpkin in Science, so what better way to learn than to watch it in action?!
Meet our newest classroom student… Jack! 🍂🔍
Students in Mrs. Stephenson’s Grade 1/2 classroom will be observing Jack’s adventure and documenting their observations in their science journals as we watch the process unfold. We can’t wait to see what happens next! 🎃🌱

🔎🐾 LOST & FOUND ALERT! 🐾🔎

Is your child missing a hoodie, water bottle, jacket, hat, or maybe even a pair of shoes? 👕🧢💧👟

Our Lost & Found is getting full! 😱 Take a look through the photos below—something might be waiting to make its way back home! 🏠❤️

📅 Please have your child claim their belongings by Friday, October 16th.

After the deadline, any remaining unclaimed items may be donated.

🏷️ A little label goes a long way!
This is also a great reminder to please label ALL of your child’s belongings before sending them to school. Adding your child’s name to clothing, lunch containers, water bottles, backpacks, and other personal items makes it so much easier for our school team to return lost items to their owners. 📝💕

👀 Check the photos and see if you recognize anything!

Thank you, families, for helping us keep our Lost & Found under control! 🐾❤️🖤🤍
