Double Bill
101 Dalmatians Kids & Bye Bye Birdie Jr Double Bill - May 29 & 30
Join The Graham Academy Showstoppers & Junior Ensemble for an unforgettable double bill that explores the wild side of fame, family, and fandom!
The evening begins with the Showstoppers’ 101 Dalmatians, featuring our Moonbeams. This high-stakes adventure follows Cruella De Vil, will stop at nothing to get what she wants. It’s a tail-wagging tale of courage and community as a pack of spunky pups outsmart a fashionista’s obsession.
Then, we travel to the 1950s for Bye Bye Birdie. When rock-and-roll heartthrob Conrad Birdie is drafted into the army, his fans in Sweet Apple, Ohio, go into a frenzy. It’s a colorful, tuneful look at the dawn of the "teen idol" era, featuring classic hits and hilarious teenage hijinks.
From puppy power to "The Telephone Hour," this double bill celebrates the energy of our youngest performers as they tackle the hilarity of life in the spotlight!
Saturday, May 30 will feature the Graham Academy Starlights.
Chicago
June 4-6
In an era of viral sensations and 24-hour news cycles, the "Razzle Dazzle" of 1920s Chicago has never felt more like 2026.
The Graham Academy Senior Company presents the sharpest, slickest musical in Broadway history. Chicago is a biting satire on the corruption of the criminal justice system and the cult of the "celebrity criminal." When Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly find themselves on murderess row, they discover that innocence is irrelevant - what matters is who grabs the best headlines. Guided by the silver-tongued Billy Flynn, they navigate a world where fame is a weapon and the media is the ultimate jury. Featuring iconic choreography and the legendary score by Kander and Ebb, our Senior Company brings a fierce, modern energy to this story of greed, exploitation, and all that jazz.
Don't miss the trial of the century at the Corner Brook Arts & Culture Centre. In the fight for the spotlight, someone is bound to get burned!

Hi folks. Here’s a bit of news. Nothing mind blowing, but it is useful to know! Jeanette has decided to change the adaptation of “Tartuffe”that we’ll be using. It’s a pretty exciting change actually. We’ll be using Andy Jones‘s version. Andy, as I’m sure everyone knows is a brilliant Newfoundland actor, playwright and TV star. If you don’t know who he is, look him up-you’ll be impressed! Anyway, it’s great that we are able to use this version. I’m not sure how much we will be interacting with Andy, but I do know that he’s thrilled about it and I imagine we will be spending some time with him and that will be excellent all around. This version has some music in it, so Jeanette has asked that you please prepare a few lines of a song. (Accapella) it could be from the song that you prepared for CCC Or it could be even a simple as “Happy Birthday.” Please don’t worry about this too much. She just needs to hear you sing a few lines. I will also be sending you a link of Andy’s version. Once you get to Cornerbrook and we start classes, you will need to purchase a script. We will have copies available. I hope you’re all enjoying your holidays and getting lots of rest and relaxation.(:
